Review Policy

Reviews help homeowners make informed decisions and help honest Pros build their reputation. This policy explains who can review, what's allowed, and how we moderate.

1. Who Can Write a Review

Reviews should reflect a genuine, firsthand experience with a Pro you actually engaged or interacted with through the Service. Reviews from the Pro about themselves, from competitors, or from people with an undisclosed conflict of interest are not allowed.

2. Content Standards

Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. Please do not include: unlawful, harassing, hateful, or obscene content; personal information (yours or others'); content that infringes others' rights; or advertising and spam. We display reviewer names in an abbreviated form for privacy.

3. Prohibited Reviews

We prohibit fake or incentivized reviews, reviews posted in exchange for payment or discounts, coordinated campaigns to inflate or sabotage ratings, and reviews used to threaten or extort a Pro.

4. No Pay-to-Remove

We do not remove honest, policy-compliant negative reviews in exchange for payment. Paid status does not entitle a Pro to deletion of legitimate criticism.

5. Moderation & Removal

We may remove or decline to publish reviews that violate this policy, and we may remove content to comply with the law or a valid legal request. We generally do not edit the substance of a review; we may remove it in whole.

6. Pro Responses & Disputes

Pros may respond to reviews and may flag a review they believe violates this policy. Flagged reviews are evaluated against this policy. A disagreement with a review's opinion is not, by itself, grounds for removal.

7. Reporting a Review

To report a review that violates this policy, use the report option on the review or contact support@litoolbox.com with the details.

8. Our Role

LI ToolBox provides a platform for user-generated reviews. Reviews reflect the views of their authors, not LI ToolBox, and we do not adopt or endorse them. Consistent with applicable law, we are not the author or publisher of user-submitted content, and our moderation decisions do not make us responsible for that content.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version.
